In May 2010, we started to collect pictures of sentimental items belonging to members of the community in the Tre Cwm area of Llandudno. We took photos at our weekly luncheon club and uploaded them onto our blog Sentiment@Ty Llywelyn (Click on the link here). A slideshow of photos will be shown at Llandudno Museum in May 2011.If your community or group would like to be involved in this project, we can come out to photograph your items. This is a lovely idea - it always surprises me how important the visual can be in the way we construct our own histories. Are there any plans to expand this to consider the other senses? eg soundscapes, nostalgic smells...
